MAYFIELD Modified Skull Clamp

The MAYFIELD Modified Skull Clamp allows the neurosurgeon to position the skull pins in critical areas. The flexibility of the device enables this to be accomplished with complete safely. The device features a quick-release lock. Yo provide the utmost safety to the patient, this skull clamp should not be used in conjunction with non-MAYFIELD products. Replacement skull pins are available as the pins should not be used if dull or bent and should not be resharpened. The MAYFIELD Modified Skull Clamp is not recommended for use on children under five years of age. The clamp should not be applied to the area around the frontal sinus, the temporal fossa, or other critical or sensitive areas, including areas where major nerves or blood vessels are present.
